Queremos que sigas aprendiendo, y por eso siguen las lecciones express o “Express Lessons”. Hoy estaremos hablando de causas y efectos (o cause and effect).
Tal como los tenemos en español, los conectores existen también en inglés, y son palabras o frases que unen dos oraciones con el fin de ordenar lo que queremos decir, hacer énfasis en algo puntual, realizar una aclaración, relacionar ideas o agregar información adicional. Conocer los conectores nos ayudará a profundizar el conocimiento de un idioma, darle mayor fluidez, evitar las repeticiones y mejorar el estilo.
Hoy puntualmente vamos a estar aprendiendo un tipo particular de conector: aquel que nos demuestra causas y efectos: so, consequently, as a result, thus, therefore, since, because, because of, hence, for, due to, y varios más. ¿Cómo los utilizamos? So, therefore, thus, hence, consequently, as a result muestran efecto, mientras que as, since, for, because, because of o due to muestran la causa.
